Our website is new and very much a work in progress and as we learn more, we will adjust and improve. As with most tech-based things however, there are some limitations, so where we can, we will do our best to adapt and adjust.

Our concept and design were always considered and shaped from our own lived experience we have collectively.

We used safe contrasting colours, guided by the WGAC 2.0 of course, which are not just eye-candy; they're an accessibility and readability revolution! Designed for accessibility readers, text to speech, sensitive eyes, those with dyslexia or other learning or communication processing difficulties.

Our colour scheme is reflective of our introverted, dark humoured yet youthful, fun selves, plus it’s our fearless leader’s favourite colour. It is as inviting as a deep squeeze body hug. Or, you know, as close to a deep hug as pixels can get.

Fonts: Because Serifs are So Last Decade

Comic Sans walked so that our easy-to-read, sans-serif fonts could run. Research says sans-serif fonts are the bee's knees for readability (British Dyslexia Association, 2018). So, we're serving you accessibility on a silver platter, sans the headache.

Graphics: More Than Just Pretty Pictures

Our logo and selected graphics on the website are like the Swiss Army Knife of imagery - functional, intuitive, and oh-so-relatable. We've handpicked every element to represent diversity and inclusivity.

It also represents our own family of three boys, now growing into young adults, and each with their own spectrum of strengths and interests. The triangles represent strength and mountain tops where the journey is often hard yet worthy once the view can be seen. Just like life and being neurodivergent can be.
